Dr. Beth Yegerlehner is the best primary care physician I have ever had!
I went to Beth because I was having woman problems; specifically excessive bleeding and pain that doubled me over, and pain and bleeding during intercourse. (Sorry I know its TMI, but its relevant). I told her I've had these symptoms for years. She looked me in the face and laughed at me and told me that I must be having too rough sex. (!!). I was MORTIFIED.. I was in so much pain I didn't know what to do. I didn't go back to another doctor because she embarrassed me so much. I was really ashamed. Flash forward a year. Tomorrow I'm having my ovaries removed because they have endometriosis all over them. I've had this thing for a couple of years and because she thought it was cool to make a joke about it, I'm not gonna be able to have children. She should've ordered some tests or at least took me seriously. Thanks, Beth. You should really take patient complaints more seriously. And you shouldn't laugh at them, especially when it comes to sex organs.
I went to 2 local practitioners, but they lacked the high quality of care, no nonsense approach, and practical advice that I expect from my doctor and that Dr. Yegerlehner provides.
If on the other hand, you are want a beneficial healthcare experience and a partnership with your physician, then Dr. Yegerlehner is the right choice!
If you are looking for a doctor who will write an Rx for whatever you want, then Dr. Yegerlehner is not for you.
I moved from Martinsville 3 years ago, but continue to see Dr. Yegerlehner even though the commute is much less convenient.
I have called several times to get my blood pressure meds refilled and was told that Dr. Beth was out of the office. Now after two days of waiting, I'm calling again. The receptionist asked if I was out of meds. Yes, it's the beginning of a new month and I am out of blood pressure meds! Why can no one else take care of this when Dr. Beth is out of the office?
